CELIA'S POEMS

            No 127  July 22

            When we went into lockdown,

            We were filled with dread,

            Our friends we would not get to see,

            All over they were spread.

            But then someone wrote a poem,

            It was the best thing ever,

            I just cannot believe it,

            It pulled us all together.

            I was so happy,

            When such a little thing,

            Just kept us all together,

            And happiness did bring.

            All our friends felt cut off,

            And now we’re all together,

            I can’t believe a little poem,

            Has brought us so much pleasure.

            Some credit to the writer,

            But as I’m sure you know,

            Geoff does all the typing,

            Or else the poems just wouldn’t go.
