CELIA'S POEMS
No 136 July 31
Well, we’re still together,
I
suppose you had a laugh,
I
really shouldn’t be doing this,
Upsetting my only staff.
He
had to think about it,
Before he let me put it on,
He
said, I suppose you realise,
My
good name has now gone.
Remember we were on holiday,
And
my daughter was to blame,
He
was doing her a favour,
Now
he’s lost his good name.
He
really is the same Geoff,
The
one that we love so,
This pandemic’s got lots to answer for,
We’ve told things you shouldn’t know.
So
when we finally get together,
Don’t look at us and say,
We
know so much about you now,
You
told us every day.
