CELIA'S POEMS

No 280       December 22

We might be Rocking Around The Christmas Tree,

And waiting for Rudolf The Red Nosed Reindeer,

But I think Santa Got Stuck Up The Chimney,

And we got this rotten year.

So Come All Ye Faithful,

The Mistletoe mum and dad kissed underneath,

This year letís just Feed The World,

Ďcause All I Want For Christmas is my new false teeth.

It will be a White Christmas,

And it will be Lonely Without You,

Letís just ask the three wise men,

Should we Ring Out The Old and Bring in the New.

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,

Last Christmas I Gave you My Heart,

Itís the most wonderful time of the year,

But this year weíll be apart.

Drum on Little Drummer Boys,

Do They Know Itís Christmas Time At All,

So Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow,

Because itís the worst Christmas we can recall.

I tried to do something different,

And all of you impress,

But now I see it written down,

I think itís just a mess.
