SHELF VILLAGE HALL  -  SATURDAY MARCH 19th 2016

Thanks to everyone who came to our monthly Social at Shelf Village Hall last night and helped make it such a brilliant night. Quite a few regulars missing due to holidays and other commitments but lots of new faces there who all seemed to be enjoying it and hope we see them again. Celia had made up a hamper which we raffled with the proceeds £54.00 which we have rounded up to £75.00 going to the Rushton family following their tragic house fire where little Jake was badly burned, we all hope he’s recovering and the skin grafts are a success. As usual not able to get through all the requests but managed 47 dances in our allotted 3 hours. We usually finish the night off with the most requested dance which for the second month running was “Aint Misbehavin’ but with a few minutes left after this had been played we said “good night” with “Walk The Line” danced to “Cheerio”. Mustn’t forget Celia’s supper which as always was a huge success, haven’t worked out yet whether they come for the dancing or the supper.
