SHELF VILLAGE HALL  -  SATURDAY OCTOBER 13th 2018

Thinking it was going to be a quiet night at our Social at Shelf on Saturday with quite a few of our regulars away we were pleasantly surprised and had quite a good turn out. Thanks to everyone who came to support us and it was great to see Polly & Keith who had travelled all the way from Morecambe. As usual far more requests than we can get through but managed to play a good mix of new & old for all different levels. Decided to do a quick teach (only needed a couple of walls in as many minutes) of the fun dance “GIRL WITH THE FISHING ROD” by Christina Yang, seemed to go down well with lots on the floor and lots of positive comments. As usual finished the night off with a repeat of the most requested dance which this month was Hazel Pace’s “I CLOSE MY EYES”. And of course can’t finish without mentioning Celia’s wonderful buffet supper which as usual went down a treat.
