Week Commencing April 4th

On Monday night at our Shipley class taught “FLY LIKE A BIRD” (Hedy McAdams) in first session, everybody up for this all three times we danced it. In the second half taught Guyton’s “PERFECT”, again a few directional problems as we had in last week’s Wednesday class but looks like being a big hit at both our classes.

Problems this week deciding what to teach at our Wednesday class, must have tried out about 5 different dances before we settled on our original choice  “PARTY FREAK” and are we glad we did, an instant hit with the class. A 64 count, 2 wall dance with one restart choreographed by Kate Sala to the current No 1 in the charts “On The Floor” by Jennifer Lopez (ft Pitbull). Quite an easy teach and we had  everyone on the floor all three times we danced it, isn’t it just great to teach a dance that everybody in the class likes. Recapped last weeks dance “PERFECT” (Guyton Mundy), “RAISE YOUR GLASS” (Rachael McEnaney) & “DON’T BE A DRAG”         (Neville & Julie), all three big hits with our dancers.
