REPORTS  &  PLAYLISTS

APRIL  2016

April 6th

Great nights dancing at Saltaire this week. Following our weekend in Carlisle decided to teach 2 that we had learnt there. First was “TOP GEAR” choreographed by Claire Bell, it’s a 48 count, 2 wall, easy intermediate dance with one restart choreographed to “Fast Car” by Tobtok. Everybody stayed on the floor the second time we danced it so should do well at our class. Second teach was “SEIZE THE MOMENT” choreographed by Joyce Plaskett & ‘Diddy’ Dave Morgan, a 2 wall, 32 count Intermediate dance with no tags or restarts. A lovely dance that flows to the music, “Nothing Really Matters” by Mr Probz. We did lose a few on this one as it is quite ‘turny’ in the first part of the dance, but as the turns alternate it didn’t seem a problem to me. The one’s who stuck with it, which was the majority definitely seemed to like it. Recapped last week’s dance “DIRTY MIND” (Daniel Whittaker), the class seem to be loving this one and also recaps of “SECRET LOVE” & “STAND BY YOU” both Maggie G dances and both going down well with our dancers.

Playlist was :- Alcazar, Your Loving Arms, Slam Goes The Door, Wow Tokyo, Uptown Funk, Alvaro, Darling Hold My Hand, One Track Mind, Up, Black Magic, Love Me Like You Do, Tuesday Blues, Making History, Love Me Like You, Sax, Top Gear (twice), Save The Day, Seize The Moment, Better When I’m Dancing, Dirty Mind (twice), Aint Misbehavin’, Secret Love, Second Heart, Seize The Moment (again), Stand By You & We Are Who We Are.
