Fairly quiet at class again last night, but always a great atmosphere and plenty on the floor all night. At the last minute decided to teach 2 dances last night, originally we had planned to do “YOUR LOVING ARMS” choreographed by Vikki Morris but after reading Claire Bell’s glowing reports on Audrey Watson’s “BEST YEAR” decided to do that one as well. Both dances received a round of applause from the class with everyone on the floor each time we danced them. “YOUR LOVING ARMS” is a 32 count, 4 wall dance choreographed to “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheerhan, the whole class seem to be Ed Sheerhan fans so that was a bonus and the dance certainly did not disappoint. “Best Year” is a 64 count, 2 wall High Improver dance with 2 restarts choreographed to “Best Year 2015” by Callaghan, another great dance that I’m sure will be sticking around at our class for some time. Recapped last week’s dance “BETTY BOOP” (Simon Ward & Jo & John Kinser. Also recaps & quick walls of quite a few others which included “LOVE ME LIKE YOU DO” (Ria Vos) & “ALVARO” (Robbie McGowan Hickie & Karl-Harry Winson), both big hits with our dancers.
