Week Commencing April 11th

On Monday at our Shipley class didn’t teach anything new in the first half, recapped “FLY LIKE A BIRD” from last week plus lots of other recaps.  Second half of night taught Kate Sala’s “PARTY FREAK” big hit has it had been at our Saltaire class. Also recapped “PERFECT” (Guyton Mundy) & RAISE YOUR GLASS (Rachael McEnaney) plus a few others.

At Saltaire on Wednesday at the risk of being lynched taught 2 dances, first was “ONLY GIRL” a 64 count, 2 wall dance with one restart on the 3^rd wall and easy 4 count tag at the end of the 6^th. Choreographed by Simon Ward & Niels Poulsen to the track of the same name by Rihanna the dance got an excellent response from our class. Second dance we taught was Daniel Whittaker’s “SUNSET MAMBO” choreographed to Price Tag by Jessie J & B.o.B. A 32 count fun dance with a 16 count tag danced twice (at the end of walls 1 & 3). Again a favourable reaction from our dancers and looks like both dances will be floor fillers at our class.

Recapped “PARTY FREAK” (Kate Sala), PERFECT (Guyton Mundy) & “RAISE YOUR GLASS” (Rachael McEnaney) all going down well with our dancers. Other Big hits at the class include  “DON’T BE A DRAG” (Neville & Julie), “FRAGILE NOT BROKEN” (Dee Musk)  “ANOTHER HEARTBREAK” (Robbie McGowan Hickie) & “DIRTY BIT” (Shaz Walton).
