August 1^st 

Our new dance for this week was Alan Birchall’s “LIDO SHUFFLE” choreographed to a great track of the same name by Boz Scaggs. A 64 count, 2 wall (well it’s actually 3) dance classed as Advanced with an easy restart on the 2^nd wall and 2 short tags also followed by restarts. We all found the actual steps of the dance reasonably easy but it’s the just the 2 tags and restarting the dance that make it a little more challenging and take it to a higher level. Everybody loved the music and the dance and looks like being another big hit for Alan, certainly at our class.

Recapped last week’s 2 dances “1929” (Kate Sala & Robbie McGowan Hickie) & “BLACK HEART” (Kate Sala) both big hits with our dancers. Also quick recaps of  “RAY OF LIGHT” (Simon Ward), “LAND OF DREAMS” (Chris Hodgson) & “TIME BOMB” (Craig Bennett) all going well with the class.
