August 6^th

Another good night again at class this week.  New dance for the night was one that had been recommended to us by our good friends from Morecambe, Keith & Polly, “BORROW MY HEART” choreographed by Travis Taylor to a track of the same name by Taylor Henderson. A 64 count, 2 wall Intermediate dance with restarts on walls 2 & 5 and an easy tag at the end of wall 3 that was an instant hit with the class with a full floor all 3 times we danced it. A super track and a super dance, think this will stay around at our class for some time. Recapped the 2 dances we taught last week, the easy one from Niels Poulsen “SUCH A FOOL” and Peter & Alison’s night club “YOUNG BLOOD” both going to be floor fillers with our dancers. Also quick walls by request of “ENIGMA” (Dee Musk), “ONE TRACK MIND” (Alan Birchall), LIGHT ON (Debbie McLaughlin) & “WALKING ON AIR” (Simon Ward & Amy Glass) all hits with our dancers.

We have a Social coming up a week on Saturday, August 16^th at Shelf Village Hall, Halifax Road, Shelf, Nr Halifax. Non stop dancing to requests from 8.00 pm – 11.00 pm, buffet supper, licensed bar, everybody welcome.
