August 8th

Very disappointed when we arrived at Victoria Hall to find the floor just as bad if not worse than last week. Their promise to inspect the floor obviously never happened so next week we will go see it ourselves and if any problem let everyone know the class is cancelled. This week we taught Maggie’s “THE THING ABOUT YOU”, a 64 count, 2 wall Intermediate dance with 2 restarts and an easy tag. Everyone on the floor all 3 times we danced it so looks like being another hit for Maggie, certainly at our class anyway. Recapped last week’s dance Karl-Harry’s “DIRTY LITTLE SECRET”, was asked to play it again proving to be another good choice. Also quick recaps of “TEXAS TIME” (Alan & Jacqui) “VANCOUVER FIREWORKS” ((Roy Verdonk & Jef Camp) & “MEET ME THERE” (Roy Jeff & Co), all going well.

We have our monthly Social at Shelf Village Hall a week on Saturday (Sat August 18th). Dancing to your requests from 8.00 pm – 11.00 pm, admission includes home made buffet supper, everybody welcome.
