What a great night at class last night, good attendance and 2 new dancers, 2 young girls who hadn’t done much line dancing before but picked them up brilliantly. We had decided to do an easy dance this week after a fairly difficult one last week with not many there and this worked out really well for the new girls. The new dance was Daniel Whittaker & Rob Fowler’s “THOSE WERE THE DAYS”  by Hermes House Band (remember Mary Hopkin’s 1968 No 1 single), a 2 wall easy fun dance with 3 easy tags. Great fun and the class loved it, got applause all 3 times we danced it. Recapped last weeks dance “EVERYTHING WILL CHANGE” (Neville & Julie), took time with this as so many not here last week for the first teach, danced it twice with a full floor both times so looks like a hit at our class. Did lots of recaps which included “YOUNG BLOOD” (Peter & Alison), “SUCH A FOOL” (Niels Poulsen), “BORROW MY HEART” (Travis Taylor) & “LIGHT ON” (Debbie McLaughlin).
