Week Commencing August  23rd

Early session Monday night just lots of reviews, second half taught Kate Sala’s “DRIP DROPPIN” , most seemed to like it but not as good a response as at last Wednesdays class. Recapped “HAUNTED” (Paul McAdam) , one of my personal favourites at the moment. 

Playlist for the night was :-County Line, Grundy Gallop, Easy Come Easy Go, Duck Soup, Commitment, Where I Belong, Picnic Polka, Playing With Fire, After Midnight, Tennessee Waltz Surprise, Country Walking/ Pot of Gold, Life Without U, It Hurts, Smokey Places, This & That, Rhyme or Reason, Mojo Rhythm/Cowboy Charleston, Quarter After One, Plan B, Drip Droppin (twice), Up Up Up, Haunted (twice), Cranky, Fire With Fire, I Run To You, Wild, Night Work & Pack Up. 

Think our Wednesday night class must all be “Night” people, first we had “NIGHT OWL” (Ryan Hunt) - Big hit, then we had “NIGHT WORK” (The Kinsers & Mark Furnell)  – another Big hit and now this week we taught “NIGHTSHIFT” choreographed by Kath Dickens that looks to have the makings of another Big hit at our class, full floor each time we danced it followed by round of applause and lots of good feedback. It’s a 4 wall dance with 2 restarts choreographed to Dr Victor’s “Nightshift” a great track that just makes you want to dance.  Re-capped last week’s dance Kate Sala’s “DRIP DROPPIN”, everybody up again for this, so another winner with our class and Paul McAdams “HAUNTED” which has also received a great response from our dancers.
