Week Commencing August  9th

Monday night at our Shipley class just did lots of recaps in the early session. Second half taught “NIGHT WORK” choreographed by Jo & John Kinser & Mark Furnell, got the same excellent response as it did at last week’s Wednesday class, looks like being a big hit at both classes. 

Playlist for the night was County Line, Grundy Gallop, Easy Come Easy Go, Tennessee Waltz Surprise, Smokey Places, Commitment, This & That, After Midnight, It Hurts, Picnic Polka, Where I Belong, Quarter After One, Mojo Rhythm/Cowboy Charleston, Live Laugh Love, Rhyme Or Reason, Life Without You, Wakira, I Run To You, Night Work (twice), Playing With Fire, Pack Up, Night Owl, Fire With Fire & You And I. 

On Wednesday at Saltaire the new dance for the night was Paul McAdam’s nightclub two-step “HAUNTED”, music Haunted by Ben Montague. A 32 count, 2 wall dance with a restart on the third wall, a fabulous dance to a fabulous track. A lot of turns in this dance and a few of our class who either didn’t like the turns or don’t like nightclubs sat it out, but the majority who stuck with it loved it. Recapped last week’s dance “NIGHT WORK” (Jo & John Kinser & Mark Furnell), everybody up for this one and was requested to play it again, big hit with our dancers. Also recapped “PACK UP” (Craig Bennett) & FIRE WITH FIRE (Maggie Gallagher) both going well with the class.
