A great night at class this week, a bit slow getting going due to problems with traffic but a good turn out in the end. New dance was Daniel Whittaker & Simon Ward’s “BADDA BADDA SWING”, a 48 count, 2 wall dance with a 12 count tag choreographed to “I Don’t Dance” from the High School Musical 2 Original Soundtrack. Quite an easy teach and got a good response from the class. Love the dance but can’t say I’m that keen on the tag but it only happens once so no problem. Recapped last week’s dance “CHICAGO BONFIRE” (Debbie, Jose & Ria), still only half the class getting up for this one but the ones that do seem to really enjoy it. Also recapped “SAMIRA” (Kate Sala), a big hit with our dancers and quick walls of a few others.

Next Wednesday December 10th it’s our Christmas party at Victoria Hall, Saltaire, usual home made buffet supper, quiz, stand up bingo plus a raffle for Christmas hamper. Starts 7.30 pm and finishes 10.30 pm, everybody welcome. Christmas Social at Shelf Village Hall, Halifax Rd, Shelf, Nr Halifax is Saturday December 20th, non stop dancing to requests from 8.00 pm – 11.00 pm, buffet supper, licensed bar, everybody welcome.
