Great to be back at class this week, wasn’t sure whether we should teach anything new after being closed due to holidays for the last 3 weeks, but could not resist teaching our favourite dance from the Las Vegas Dance Explosion. “I HOPE YOU FIND IT” choreographed by Niels Poulsen to a fabulous powerful track of the same name by Cher. A 32 count, 2 wall dance with a 16 count tag danced after walls 1 & 3 and a 4 count tag danced after walls 2 & 4. The tags are easy, the 32 counts of the dance are a little trickier but well worth the effort, a fabulous nightclub that I’m sure will be a big hit for Niels, it certainly filled the floors in Vegas. Danced it 3 times with a full floor each time. Lots of recaps needed after such a long break which included “WRONG SIDE SLIDE” (Jill Babinec & Jo Thompson Szymanski), “KNOCKIN’ ON WOOD” (Daniel Whittaker & Karl-Harry Winson) & “PASANDA” (Pat Stott & Sandra Speck).
