REPORTS & PLAYLISTS
NOVEMBER 2018
';
December 5th
Very quiet
this week, in fact possibly the quietest since we moved to Victoria Hall in May
2001. Our new dance this week was one we had seen fill the floor with smiling
faces at Maggies 50th Birthday Party in Southport at the weekend, “BETHLEHEM
CHILD” choreographed by Roy Verdonk, Sebastiaan Holtland & Jose Miguel Belloque
Vane to a great track of the same name by Kenny Rogers. Love the track, love the
dance. Don’t be put off by the step sheet, once you’ve mastered the sequence,
which we had at the second attempt, it’s easy. Recapped last weeks dance
Robbie’s “LOVE IS LOUD” and Karl’s “GRAFFITI” both going well plus a few others
where needed.
Playlist was :- I Came To Love You, Slowly
Gently Softly, Your Loving Arms, Dear Friend,
Missing, Better When I’m
Dancing, Pull You Through, Through It All, Texas Time, Gypsy Queen, Capital
Letters, Hold A Candle, Celtic Duo, I Close My Eyes, Vanotek Cha, Bethlehem
Child, Groovy Love, Love Is Loud (twice), Majestic, Graffiti (twice), Lonely
Drum, Bethlehem Child (again), Just Got Paid, Feel Alive, Meet Me There & The
Thing About You.
Just another reminder about our party nights
coming up in December, the Christmas Social at Shelf Village Hall is Saturday
15th December 8.00 pm – 11.00 pm and the Christmas Party at Victoria Hall,
Saltaire is Wednesday 19th December (which just happens to fall on Celia’s
birthday), 7.30 pm – 10.30 pm. Everybody welcome at both of these.
