December 6th

A few missing this week at class but still had a great night. Maggie G’s “HEARTS ON FIRE” was our choice of new dance and what a good choice it was. Yes there are a few restarts and a tag but all are easily recognisable and it fits the music perfectly. 64 counts, 2 walls and quite an easy teach, danced it 3 times with a full floor so looks to be a winner at our class. Recapped last week’s dance “PERFECT” (Alison Johnstone & Josh Talbot), class are loving this and asked for it to be played again and also “HURTS LIKE A CHA CHA” (Simon Ward, Daniel Trepat & Fred Whitehouse) another big hit with our dancers. Quick walls of a few others where needed.

Playlist was :- Second Hand Heart, Dear Friend, Your Loving Arms, Better When I’m Dancing, I Came To Love You, Wandering Hearts, Italiano, Gypsy Queen, Scared Of The Dark, Darling Hold My Hand, Slowly Gently Softly, Tango With Me Darling, Delilah, Time To Surrender, Hearts On Fire (twice), Lonely Drum, Perfect (twice), Open Your Eyes, Hurts Like A Cha Cha (twice), Love On The Weekend, Hearts On Fire (again), Enough Is Enough, Down On Your Uppers, Crybaby & Story Of A Heart.

Just a reminder that it’s our Christmas Party night at Victoria Hall, Saltaire on Wednesday 20th December and our Christmas social at Shelf Village Hall on Saturday 16th December, everybody welcome at both.
