Great start to the New Year with everyone raring to go after the Christmas break. Lovely also to see a few new faces to our class which made it a busier night than any we had all last year (excluding party nights). Taught a nice easy dance “LOVE ME LIKE YOU” choreographed by Rhoda Lai from Canada who we had the pleasure of meeting when we were at the Las Vegas Line Dance Explosion last November. It’s a 32 count dance with one 8 count tag choreographed to “Love Me Like You” by Little Mix. An easy start to the year and got an excellent response from the class. Recapped “ROCK THIS FACTOR” (Daniel Whittaker & Simon Ward), a few given up on this one as although they really like the steps to the dance they don’t like the music. Any suggestions for an alternative track ?. Also recapped Maggie’s “SECOND HAND HEART” this is a big hit with the class and looks like being a floor filler and one that will stick around. Also a quick wall of a few others where required.

Our first Social of the year at Shelf Village Hall, Halifax Road, Shelf, Nr Halifax HX37NT is Saturday 16^th January, non stop dancing to your requests from 8.00 pm – 11.00 pm. Admission includes Buffet Supper, licensed bar and car park, everybody welcome.
