Week Commencing January 17th 

Nothing new in the early session at our Monday class at Shipley, recapped last week’s new dance “RIO” and another run through “POT OF GOLD”, both going down well. In the second half taught Robbie’s “ANOTHER HEARTBREAK” and recapped last week’s “BUSY” (Jo & John Kinser), again both these dances getting a good response from the class. 

Playlist was :- Waltz Across Texas, Hooked On Country, Tennessee Waltz Surprise, Pot Of Gold, People Are Crazy, Grundy Gallop, Playing With Fire, Rio, Irish Stew, This & That, Life Without U, Amame/County Line, Upside Down/Easy Come Easy Go, Tush Push, Little Red Book, Coochie Bang Bang/Black Coffee, Drip Droppin’, Pack Up/Duck Soup, Another Heartbreak (twice), Quarter After One, Bobbi With An I, Busy, Poker Face, You’re Amazing, Night Owl, Unpredictable & Nightshift. 

On Wednesday at Saltaire our new dance for the night was Shaz’s “DIRTY BIT” choreographed to The Time (Dirty Bit) by the Black Eyed Peas. Had read and heard lots of good reports on this dance and it certainly lived up to expectations. Quite a long teach but well worth the effort. 4 walls, 64 counts with a restart on wall 3 and a tag and restart on wall 5 which you can’t miss as the music really does tell you. One or two sat down the second time we danced but I think they might eventually regret it. Fabulous dance Shaz that for me should shoot up to No 1 in the charts. Recapped “ANOTHER HEARTBREAK” (Robbie McGowan Hickie) and “BUSY” (Jo & John Kinser) both proving to be very popular at both our classes.
