Week Commencing January 24th 

Nothing new for the early session on Monday at Shipley, just the usual recaps and still working on “POT OF GOLD”, it’s all fitting into place now. Second half of the evening taught Shaz’s “DIRTY BIT”, they loved it, definitely going to be a big hit at both our classes. Recapped last week’s dance “ANOTHER HEARTBREAK” (Robbie McGowan Hickie) and also “BUSY” (Jo & John Kinser) both going well. 

Playlist for the night was :- Stroll Along Cha, Grundy Gallop, Irish Stew, Smokey Places, Pot of Gold, Rio, Tennessee Waltz Surprise, Playing With Fire, Commitment,  Amame / County Line (floor split), Upside Down / Easy Come Easy Go (floor split), Drip Droppin’, Come Dance With Me, Pack up / Duck Soup (floor split), People are Crazy, Black Coffee, Busy (twice), Dirty Bit, Bobbi With An I, Another Heartbreak, Night Owl, Nightshift & Night Work. 

On Wednesday at our Saltaire class we taught Robbie’s waltz “WE BELONG” choreographed to “Secret” by Seal, a few had already done this at other classes but all were happy to do at ours also. A lovely waltz that really flows. Recapped “DIRTY BIT” (Shaz Walton) from last week, almost everybody up doing this one, was requested to play it again and a full floor second time also. Quick recaps of “ANOTHER HEARTBREAK” (Robbie McGowan Hickie) & “BUSY” (Jo & John Kinser) both prving to be popular with our class.
