January 25th 

Another good night at class this week, the new dance was a new one from Neville & Julie, “KISS THE STARS” choreographed to a track of the same name by Pixie Lott. A 2 wall, 64 count dance with 2 easily recognisable restarts with a great combination of steps that hits this catchy piece of music perfectly, particularly the rock, recover, cross, heel bounce section. Excellent response from the class and looks like another big hit with our dancers.  Recapped last weeks dance “TIL FOREVER” (Audrey Watson) this going down well with the class. Also recapped Karl-Harry Winson’s “WITHOUT FIRE” which is probably the number one dance at our class at the moment. 

Playlist for the night was -: Rhyme Or Reason, New Flame, People Are Crazy, Party Freak, Burlesque, Beyond Your Eyes, Playing With Fire, No Scandal, Amame, On The Edge, Mr Wonderful, Alabama Slamming, You And I, The Rush, Close To Paradise, Kiss The Stars (twice), My Motivation, ‘Til Forever, Move A Like, Without Fire, Dance With Me Tonight, Kiss The Stars (again), Footloose, If You Were Mine, Baie Baie, Rock Your Body, Domino & Without Fire (again).  Can’t believe I never played Jealousy definitely an oversight as it’s very popular and I didn’t realise til we got home. 

Next week we are closed as it’s the annual pantomime in the hall and again on February 22^nd we have to close for the Beer Festival.
