Another good night at class this week and great to welcome our friends Carol Craven & Diane Poole from Florida & Dawn Sherlock from the West Midlands. Celia had made a cake for Diane’s birthday which we all enjoyed. Now on to the dancing, new dance for this week was an easy Improver level dance from Craig, “THE STORY OF MY LIFE”, 64 counts, 4 walls with 2 very easily recognisable restarts on walls 2 & 5 and choreographed to the One Direction track “Story Of My Life”. A definite hit with our dancers with almost everybody on the floor all 3 times we danced it. Re-capped last week’s dance, Daniel Whittaker’s “DREAM LOVER” (currently at No 1 in Carol’s World Line Dance Newsletter chart) another that’s going down very well with the class. It’s good to do a few easy ones that don’t take too much thinking about. Also quick reminders of a few others which included “SHAKIN’ MY HEAD” (Guyton Mundy) & “IN MY HEART” (Maggie G).
