Week Commencing January 3rd

First night back on Monday at Shipley Class, wasn’t as good a turn out as we expected. We’d had a few requests from our newer dancers to teach “POT OF GOLD” so this was the one we went with. Will take another week or two for them to be confident with this one but they did great. Lot’s of recaps in both sessions as we were all a bit rusty after such a long break with the snow.

 Excellent attendance at Wednesday’s Saltaire class, as we hadn’t taught anything since November 24^th due to holidays and cancelled classes we decided to go for something reasonably easy. The new one from Jo & John Kinser “BUSY” fitted the bill perfectly. A 48 count, 2 wall dance with one restart on the second wall choreographed to the track of the same name by Olly Murs. Received a great reception from the class with everyone on the floor all three times we danced it. Looks sure to be a winner with our dancers.

Recapped a few that we had done before the break which included  “DON’T MISS A THING” (Rachael McEnaney) fabulous dance, unfortunately we have a few who don’t like night clubs but the rest are loving it and Box It Up (Craig Bennett) mixed response on this one also.
