Thanks to everyone who turned up at class on such a hot night, fortunately with such a big room and the height of the ceiling it doesn’t get as hot as at some venues. The new dance we had decided on for this week was Maggie G’s “ROADS” and was an instant hit with all the class. It’s a 52 count, 2 wall dance with a couple of restarts and one easy tag that fits the music (“Roads by Lawson) like a glove. Not at all surprised it’s riding high at No 2 in the Linedancer charts. Recapped last week’s dance “YOUR PLACE OR MINE” (Ria, Karl & Robbie), fabulous dance going very well with the class and WTF (Fred, Joey & Darren) unfortunately not as many doing this but the ones that are absolutely love it. Also quick reminders of “THE BOMP” (Kim Ray), “SLAM GOES THE DOOR” (Neville & Julie) & “AND GET IT ON” (Daniel & Jose).

Next Social at Shelf Village Hall coming up in a couple of weeks time Saturday 18th July, non stop dancing  to requests from 8.00 pm – 11.00 pm, admission includes homemade buffet supper, everybody welcome. Just a reminder that our August Social will be a week later than usual on the 4th Saturday of the month 22nd August.
