Week Comm. July 11th 

Very quiet last week on Monday at the Shipley class, nothing new in the early session, just recaps. Second half taught Robbie’s “NO SCANDAL” great response from the dancers and is going to be a big hit at both our classes. Recapped “ON THE EDGE” (Craig Bennett) & “BEYOND YOUR EYES” (Peter & Alison) both going down very well with the class. 

Playlist was :- Rio, Tennessee Waltz Surprise, Wishful Thinking, Pretend, This & That, Hello Dolly, Heartbreak Express, Drip Dropping, Little Red Book, 1-2-3-4, Playing With Fire, Burlesque, I Am A Good Girl, Pot Of Gold, Commitment, I’m No Good, People Are Crazy, Beyond You Eyes, Telling The World, No Scandal, Party Freak, On The Edge, The Flute & No Scandal (again). 

New dance at our Saltaire class on Wednesday was “CLOSE TO PARADISE” choreographed by Hazel Pace, we had seen this danced and enjoyed at Alan Birchall’s event in St Anne’s the previous Saturday and it immediately took our eye. It’s a 64 count 2 wall dance with no tags or restarts choreographed to “One Step To Paradise” by Malena Ernman and got an immediate thumbs up from all our dancers. Re-capped last week’s dance “NO SCANDAL” (Robbie McGowan Hickie) and quick recaps of “ON THE EDGE” (Craig Bennett) & “BEYOND YOUR EYES” (Peter & Alison) all hits with our class
