Week Comm. July 18th 

Lot better turn out this week on Monday at Shipley, in the early session taught “SOMETHING IN THE WATER” choreographed by Niels Poulsen to a track of the same name by Brooke Fraser, had read good reports on this dance but did not get such a great response from our class, hopefully it will grow on them. Niels’ other dance that we have done with them recently “1-2-3-4” is definitely a big hit with the class. In the second session taught “CLOSE TO PARADISE” choreographed by Hazel Pace to “One Step From Paradise” by Malena Ernman, it had been a great success at our Saltaire class last week and no change this week, they loved it..Also recaps of “NO SCANDAL” (Robbie McGowan Hickie) “BEYOND YOUR EYES” (Peter & Alison) & “ON THE EDGE” (Craig Bennett) all going well with the class.

Wednesday night at Saltaire taught Maggie’s new dance “DEVOTION”, a 56 count, 2 wall dance with 2 restarts and a 4 count tag, all on the front wall (which always makes Celia happy). Took a little longer than normal to teach this one but certainly worth it. A fabulous dance with some different step sequences choreographed to a great track of music, Devotion by Sanny Nielsen. Looks like being another big hit for Maggie, certainly with our dancers. Recapped last week’s dance “CLOSE TO PARADISE” (Hazel Pace) another hit with our class as is the other one recapped “NO SCANDAL” (Robbie McGowan Hickie)
