Week Comm. July 25th 

Nothing new for the early session at our Monday class at Shipley Club, in the second half taught Maggie’s “DEVOTION”, just as popular as it had been at our Wednesday class last week. Fabulous dance to an equally fabulous track ( Devotion by Sanny Nielsen) and sure to be a floor filler at both our classes. Recapped “CLOSE TO PARADISE” (Hazel Pace) & “NO SCANDAL” (Robbie McGowan Hickie) both very popular with our dancers. 

Playlist was :- Waltz Across Texas, Little Red Book, Bosa Nova, Hello Dolly, Something In The Water, Tennessee Waltz Surprise, Heartbreak Express, Playing With Fire, Burlesque, Amame / County Line (split floor), Pot Of Gold / Country Walking (split floor), Drip Dropping, Picnic Polka, People Are Crazy, Soul Food, Commitment, Come Dance With Me, Beyond Your Eyes, I’m No Good, Devotion (twice), Party Freak, Close To Paradise, On The Edge & No Scandal. 

On Wednesday at Saltaire the new dance this week was “DR FLAME” choreographed by Kate Sala, Vivienne Scott, Robbie McGowan  Hickie & Fred Buckley. A 64 count, 4 wall dance with no tags or restarts choreographed to “New Flame” by Dr Victor & the Rasta Rebels, received a good response from the class so should be sticking around for some time. Recapped last weeks dance “DEVOTION” (Maggie G), BIG BIG hit with the class as are other recently taught dances “CLOSE TO PARADISE” (Hazel Pace), NO SCANDAL (Robbie McGowan Hickie) & “ON THE EDGE (Craig Bennett).
