REPORTS & PLAYLISTS
JULY 2012
July 25th
This week we taught 2 new dances at our class, first up was Kate & Robbie’s “1929” which the majority of the class had already learnt at other classes but were all pleased we were doing it so a very popular decision. A 32 count, 4 wall improver level dance with 2 easy tags choreographed to “1929” by Tara Oram, a catchy track, a nice easy fun dance with a Charleston feel. The second dance taught was another by Kate “BLACK HEART” choreographed to a track of the same name by “Stooshe”. 4 wall, 64 counts Intermediate level with no tags or restarts that also received an excellent response from our dancers. Think this one has the makings of another big hit for Kate. Recapped last week’s dance “RAY OF LIGHT” (Simon Ward), a lovely waltz going down great with our class. Also recaps of “TIME BOMB” (Craig Bennett) & “LAND OF DREAMS” (Chris Hodgson) plus quick walls of a few others when requested.
Playlist for the night was :- Dance With Me Tonight, Jealousy, Close To Paradise, The Rush, Amame, Kiss The Stars, Without Fire, Cha Cha Lengua, Til Forever, Rock Your Body, Burlesque, Drive By, Jamaican Love, Heart Beats Louder, Try This For Size, 1929 (twice), Move A Like, Black Heart (twice), Half Past Nothin’, Ray Of Light, Bang Bang, Land Of Dreams, Time Bomb, Rock Da Boat, Back In Time, Dance Again, Night Nurse & Pop.
