Still a few missing at class this week but much better than last week, I suppose at this time of year with holidays etc. it is to be expected. We decided to go with Alan Birchall & Jacqui Jax’s “ANGELS ON MY SIDE” which a few had learned recently at one of Johnny 2 Steps weekends and we had seen them dance it at our last Social. It’s a 64 count, 2 wall dance (no tags or restarts) choreographed to a track of the same name by Rick Astley and got an excellent response from the class, a full floor all 3 times we danced it. I was very pleased to receive a request to re-teach one of my favourite dances from last year, Rachael’s “WON’T TELL A SOUL”, love this dance as do lots of others in the class so now it can go back on the playlist on a regular basis. Also recapped last week’s dance, another of Rachael’s, “WOMAN UP”, going down very well with our dancers plus recaps of quite a few others where needed. 3 big favourites with our class at the moment are Simon’s “HARDEN UP PRINCESS”, Simon & Niels’ “WALK OF SHAME” & Hazel Pace’s “GYPSY QUEEN”.

Our next Social at Shelf Village Hall will be on Saturday August 20th, non stop dancing to your requests from 8.00 pm – 11.00 pm, admission includes home made buffet supper, licensed bar, everybody welcome.
