A week in and 2 visits to osteopaths, back much better so thought I would do catch up and taught 2 dances this week. This does not always please a lot of the class but I think they humoured me out of sympathy. First dance was Neville & Julie’s “SLAM GOES THE DOOR” choreographed to “Good Goes The Bye” By Kelly Clarkson. It’s a 32 count, 4 wall dance with 1 restart and an 8 count tag, a nice easy teach that got an excellent response from the class. The other new one we did was “AND GET IT ON” choreographed by Daniel Trepat & Jose Miquel Belloque Vane to “Marvin Gaye” by Charlie Puth ft. Meghan Trainor. Another 32 count 4 wall dance, this time with no tags or restarts and another great response from the majority of the class. Other recaps included “GIRL CRUSH” (Rachael McEnaney & Alison Johnstone), a massive hit with the class that was requested to be played again and “VOICES THAT CARE” (Simon Ward), still one of our favourites.
