Very quiet night at class this week with illness, holidays and now even good weather keeping them away. New dance for this week was “ALCAZAR” choreographed by Robbie McGowan Hickie & Karl Harry Winson, a 52 count, 4 wall dance with 2 restarts to “Blame It On The Disco” by Alcazar. Nothing too difficult about this one and was an instant hit with the class, full floor each time we danced it. Also taught the fun dance from Guyton & Maria Maag “DOO WACKA DOO”, a phrased 84 count dance with a couple of bridges and restarts, quite easy but definitely with the accent on fun. We both love the dance but got a mixed response from the class. Recapped last week’s dance “OUTCAST (Robbie McGowan Hickie), (a full floor for this one) and “CHA CHA BURN” (Scott Blevins & Jo Thompson).
