Week Commencing June 13th

Monday night at our Shipley class first half of evening taught “I AM A GOOD GIRL” choreographed by Lesley Clark to “But I Am A Good Girl” by Christina Aguilera from the film “Burlesque”. An easy 32 count dance with no tags or restarts that went down well with our dancers. Second half Taught “SOUL FOOD” choreographed by Lorenzo (GoLo) Evans to “Collard Greens & Cornbread” by Fantasia, a fabulous track and in my opinion a fabulous dance. A few sat down but the majority of the class said they liked it. Recapped Maggie’s “ALL OF ME” & “THE FLUTE” both very popular.

Wanted something reasonably easy to teach at our Wednesday class at Saltaire so decided to go with Peter & Alison’s “BEYOND YOUR EYES”. A 32 count 4 wall dance with an easy 4 count tag at the end of walls 2 & 4 choreographed to Jessica Martinsson’s track of the same name. Received an excellent response from the class with a full floor each time we danced it.  Second week of Lorenzo’s “SOUL FOOD”, a few more on the floor this week and the one’s that are doing it really love it.  Also recapped “ALL OF ME” & “THE FLUTE” both Maggie’s and both very popular and a quick wall of a few others as and when required.
