Was expecting a quiet night on Wednesday with the heat but we were very pleasantly surprised with a great turn out (30 for us is quite good these days). A big thank you to everyone who came on such a hot night. We are very lucky to have such a big hall with such a high ceiling which enables us to dance in reasonable comfort in this hot weather. We decided against teaching anything new this week so did a full teach of last week’s dance Niels Poulsen’s “THE LANGUAGE OF LOVE”. Most love the dance but a few not too keen on the music as it is a bit “screechy” in parts, but hopefully it will grow on them as I certainly enjoy dancing it. Did lots of recaps including “MEET ME THERE” (Roy Verdonk, Kevin Deelen, Anja Hauge & Jef Camps), “ACT LIKE A MAN” (Niels Poulsen) & “HOLD A CANDLE” ( Robbie & Karl) all going well plus lots more.
