REPORTS  &  PLAYLISTS

MARCH  2011

Week Commencing March 28th

Another quiet night at our Monday Shipley class, didn’t teach anything new in either session, just lots of recaps

Playlist for the night was :- Red Hot Salsa, Waltz Across Texas, Black Coffee, Tennessee Waltz Surprise, Hello Dolly, Playing With Fire, Little Red Book, Tush Push, 13 MWZ, Drip Dropping, Bosa Nova, Upside Down / Easy Come Easy Go (floor split), Amame / County Line (floor split), Burlesque (twice), People Are Crazy, Pot Of Gold, Come Dance With Me, Rhyme Or Reason, Fragile Not Broken, Don’t Be A Drag, Dirty Bit, I Run To You, Unpredictable & Raise Your Glass.

Wednesday night’s class at Saltaire after a slow start turned out to be quite busy. We eventually got round to teaching Guyton’s “PERFECT” to the clean version by Pink. Great dance that was very well received by the dancers although a few did say it made them dizzy. A few directional problems at first but once they’d danced it a couple of times it didn’t seem a problem. Recapped “RAISE YOUR GLASS” (Rachael McEnaney), a big hit with most of our dancers at this class and “DON’T BE A DRAG” (Neville & Julie) another floor filler. Also did a few quick walls of other dances as and when required.

Playlist was :-  Gave It All Away,  Quarter After One, Upside Down, Pack Up, People Are Crazy, Summer Breeze, I Run To You, Playing With Fire, Night Work, Wonderland Waltz, Unpredictable, Broken Heels, Bobbi With An I, You’re Amazing, Tennessee Waltz Surprise, Everything I Do, Perfect (twice), Burlesque, Raise Your Glass (twice), Drip Dropping, Don’t Be A Drag, Hello Dolly, Nightshift, Dirty Bit, Perfect (again), Fragile Not Broken, We Belong, Busy & Don’t Miss A Thing.
