REPORTS  &  PLAYLISTS

MAY  2011

Week Commencing May 16th

Last Monday arrived back from Florida lunchtime then class at Shipley at night. Didn’t teach anything new in the early session but in second half taught Alan Birchall’s “TELLING THE WORLD” choreographed to track of the same name by Taio Cruz, a great response from the class and looks like being a big hit at both our classes. Also recapped Daniel Whittaker’s “SUNSET MAMBO”, another big hit with both classes.

Playlist for the night was :- Little Red Book, Grundy Gallop, Tennessee Waltz Surprise, This & That, Hello Dolly, Fly Like A Bird, Rio, Bosa Nova, Playing With Fire, People Are Crazy, Amame / County Line (floor split), Pot Of Gold / Country Walking (floor split), Burlesque, Upside Down / Easy Come Easy Go (floor split), Irish Stew, Swamp Thang, Sunset Mambo (twice), Fragile Not Broken, Telling The World (twice), Don’t Be A Drag, Only Girl & Party Freak.

On Wednesday at Saltaire decided on something easy as it was first week back from holiday and knew we would need to do a lot of recapping. Rachael’s “I’M NO GOOD” was the dance we taught, a few had already done it at other classes but everybody was happy we were doing it and it went down well.

Playlist :- Rhyme or Reason, Upside Down, Bobbi With An I, Quarter After One, Drip Droppin’, We Belong, People Are Crazy, Cranky, Amame, Burlesque, Fire With Fire, Hello Dolly, Another Heartbreak, I Run To You, Nightshift, I’m No Good (twice), Fragile Not Broken, Telling The World, Sunset Mambo, Unpredictable, Only Girl, Don’t Be A Drag, Perfect, Party Girl, Night Work, Dirty Bit, Everything I Do, Raise Your Glass & Soul Food.
