For the second consecutive week the floor at Victoria Hall was very sticky, in fact it was even worse than last week. This is most unusual as it’s usually in beautiful condition and as good as any floor we have danced on. After the first dance one lady decided to leave and then after another couple of dances another 2 were preparing to go. We decided to hold on until just after 8 pm when everyone we were expecting would be there and after a discussion decided to cancel the class to prevent any injuries to our dancers. This was a unanimous decision and considering the distances some of them travel was obviously not taken lightly. Apparently they have new cleaning staff at the hall and we have been assured that things will be sorted for next week.

Our next Social at Shelf Village Hall will be Saturday June 16th, everybody welcome.
