November 19th

Had a fabulous time on holiday in Marco Island, Tampa & Las Vegas but it’s always great to be back to see all our friends at our dance class. Lots & lots of recapping this week as we had been closed for 3 weeks but we did decide to teach one of our favourite dances from the Tampa Bay Line Dance Classic, Kate Sala’s “SAMIRA”. It’s a 64 count, 4 wall Intermediate dance with a 4 count tag at the end of wall 6 choreographed to a track of the same name by Allexino & Starchild. An excellent response from our dancers just as it had in Tampa and filled the floor all 3 times we danced it. Recapped dances we had taught just before we went away “CECILIA” (Willie Brown & Heather Barton), class loving this and “SUPERHEROES” (Maggie G), a massive hit with the class and quite a few others when needed.

Playlist for the night was :- Knockin’ On Wood, Dream Lover, My First Love, Fly High, I Got It Easy, Wow Tokyo, Something In The Air, Such A Fool, Alcazar, Borrow My Heart, All I Can Say, Belongs To You, Walking On Air, Ring My Bells, One Track Mind, Samira (twice), Fireball, Cecilia (twice), Timber, Superheroes (twice), Samira (again), Light On, Diamonds & Dust & Wow Hawaii.

Not long now to our Christmas party at Victoria Hall, Saltaire, it’s Wednesday, December 10th, usual home made buffet supper, quiz, stand up bingo plus a raffle for Christmas hamper. Starts 7.30 pm and finishes 10.30 pm, everybody welcome.
