November 25^th

Great to be back at class after being closed for 3 weeks while we were away on holiday. New dance this week was Simon Ward’s “TUESDAY BLUES” choreographed to Elton John’s “I Guess That’s Why They Call It The Blues”. It’s a 64 count, High Intermediate dance with 2 restarts that we had seen filling the floors at The Las Vegas Line Dance Explosion and looks like doing the same at our class. Lots of recaps needed which included Rachael’s “WON’T TELL A SOUL”, Maggie’s “ADRENALINE RUSH” & “HEAD IN THE SKY” & Neville & Julies “FLASHLIGHT” all going down well with the class.

Playlist was :- I Got It Easy, Fly High, Uptown Funk, Fireball, Alcazar, Your Loving Arms, Wow Tokyo, One Track Mind, Darling Hold My Hand, Beautiful In My Eyes, Alvaro, And Get It On, The Bomp, Tuesday Blues (twice), Black Magic, Won’t Tell A Soul (twice), Head In The Sky, Ticket To The Blues, Adrenaline Rush, Flashlight, Pop ‘n Drop, Slam Goes The Door, Running & Your Place Or Mine.

We have our monthly Social this Saturday 28^th November at Shelf Village Hall with non stop dancing to your requests from 8.00 pm – 11.00 pm. Admission includes home made buffet supper and there’s a licensed bar. Everybody welcome. Also next month we have our Christmas Parties, the one at Victoria Hall, Saltaire is Wednesday 16^th December and Shelf Village Hall is Saturday 19^th December (which just happens to fall on Celia’s birthday).
