November 26^th

This week’s new dance was another that we had done in Tampa, “CHICAGO BONFIRE” choreographed by Debbie McLaughlin, Jose Miguel Belloque Vane & Ria Vos. This was one of my favourites from Tampa but unfortunately didn’t get the response I had hoped for, only about half the class stayed up the 2nd and 3rd time we danced it. However there were quite a few that did say they really liked it. It’s a 48 count, 2/4 wall dance with an easy 4 count tag done 4 times and 2 restarts classed as High Intermediate choreographed to “Gasoline & Matches” by  LeAnn Rimes, Rob Thomas & Jeff Beck. Recapped last week’s dance “SAMIRA” (Kate Sala), this going well with all the class. Also recaps of a few others we had done before our holiday.

Just 2 weeks now to our Christmas party at Victoria Hall, Saltaire, it’s Wednesday, December 10^th, usual home made buffet supper, quiz, stand up bingo plus a raffle for Christmas hamper. Starts 7.30 pm and finishes 10.30 pm, everybody welcome. Christmas Social at Shelf Village Hall, Halifax Rd, Shelf, Nr Halifax is Saturday 20^th December, non stop dancing to requests from 8.00 pm – 11.00 pm, buffet supper, licensed bar, everybody welcome.
