November 29th

Another great night last night at class. New dance this week was one that I had looked at some time ago but thought it had too many turns for our class. However after watching David Morgan teach “PERFECT” (Alison Johnstone & Joshua Talbot) at Johnny Two Steps last week and seeing how well it went decided to go with it. So glad I did, it got a fantastic response from our dancers and of course they loved the track by Ed Sheerhan. We had a full floor all 3 times we danced it. Recapped “HURTS LIKE A CHA CHA” (Simon Ward, Daniel Trepat & Fred Whitehouse), another massive hit with the class. Also recaps of “DOWN ON YOUR UPPERS” (Gary O’Reilly) & “CRYBABY” (Gary O’Reilly & Helen O”Malley). And just a note for you Simon, Celia managed to do her favourite dance “Beautiful In My Eyes” for the first time since her operation.

Our next Social at Shelf Village Hall will be Saturday 16th December (Christmas Party night). Believe it or not this will be exactly 10 years since our first Social at Shelf when we took over from Mitch & Val. Christmas Party Night at Victoria Hall, Saltaire is Wednesday 20th December.
