Week Commencing October 18th

Nothing new on Monday night lots of recaps in the early session, having lots of fun with “WE NO SPEAK AMERICANO” ( Pim Van Grootel).  Second half of night went through “YOU’RE AMAZING” (Guyton Mundy) again, a few who had been missing for the last 2 weeks were wanting to do it and it looks like being very popular.

Full house at Saltaire on Wednesday, great crowd.  Hadn’t intended to teach anything this week after such a difficult one last week but finished up teaching a nice easy one, Jo Thompson’s “FORTUNE FOXTROT”, everyone stayed up for this. A 32 count 4 wall dance choreographed to “On A Slow Boat To China” by Ronnie Dove. It’s one that’s always filled the floor when we’ve visited the Dance Studio in Preston and looks like it will at our club. As there were so many away from our class last week we did another full teach of “NO SALVATION” (Scott Blevins) another dance that had taken our eye at Preston, a lot more stayed up for it this week, a few struggling with the direction in places. Not to everyone’s liking but it looks like being a big favourite with part of the class. It only took a couple of walls to recap the other of last week’s dances “WE NO SPEAK AMERICANO” (Pim Van Grootel), great fun dance which was requested to be played again. Other dances recapped included “EVERYTHING I DO” (Rachael McEnaney) and “YOU’RE AMAZING” (Guyton Mundy).
