October 22nd

Sat in the bar at Manchester Airport doing this, well at least it slows down my consumption of lager and passes the time. Another good night last night at class, don’t usually teach anything new the night before we go away but couldn’t resist Willie Brown & Heather Barton’s “CECILIA”, well I had to do that one didn’t I for my Cecilia. A 32 count, 4 wall Improver dance with 2 easy restarts choreographed to Cecilia by The Vamps and was a nice easy quick teach. Excellent response from our dancers with not a single bum on a seat the second time I played it .(or were they just frightened of upsetting Celia lol).  Recapped last week’s dance “SUPERHEROES” (Maggie G) big hit with the class. Also recaps of  “DIAMONDS & DUST” (Kate Sala & Rob Fowler) & “WOW HAWAII” (Rachael, Kate, Jo & John, Wil, Niels & Roy) both filling the floor plus a few others when needed.

We are closed now for 3 weeks due to our holidays, we arrive back in the UK 18^th November and will be open at Victoria Hall, Saltaire Wednesday 19^th November. We will also have our Monthly Social on Saturday 22^nd November at Shelf Village Hall so very busy as soon as we get back.
