September 9th

Decided to go for something easy this week albeit quite a fast one. “WRITTEN IN SCARS” choreographed by Ross Brown & Karl-Harry Winson, a 64 count 4 wall Improver level dance choreographed to a track of the same name by Jack Savoretti (of “Half Past Nothing” fame). From the response from our dancers it’s certainly going to be a hit with us having a full floor each time we danced it. Re-capped last week’s dance “POP ‘n DROP” (Dee Musk & Ria Vos), this another winner at our class, a few struggling with it but all keen enough to keep at it. Also recaps of a few others which included “NEVER BEEN TO SPAIN” (Jo Thompson Szymanski), “BLACK MAGIC” (Peter & Alison) & “MIND OVER MATTER” (Simon & Niels).

Playlist for the night was:- Fly High, Wow Tokyo, One Track Mind, Fireball, Uptown Funk, Your Loving  Arms, Slam Goes The Door, Up, Beautiful In My Eyes, Cardiology, Cha Cha Lengua, Alvaro, Darling Hold My Hand, And Get It On, Written In Scars (twice), Black Magic, Pop ‘N Drop (twice), Your Place Or Mine, Don’t Let The Sun Go Down, Never Been To Spain, Party Freaks & Alcohol, The Bomp, Written In Scars (again), Running, Mind Over Matter, Best Year, Roads & Do What You Do.  

We have a Social coming up on Saturday September 19 th at Shelf Village Hall, Halifax Road, Shelf, Nr Halifax HX3 7NT. Non stop dancing to requests from 8.00 pm – 11.00 pm, admission £7.00 (16 & under & non dancers £3.50) includes fabulous homemade buffet supper, licensed bar, car park. Everybody welcome.
