Week Commencing September 13th

Quiet night on Monday night at our Shipley class, first half of night recapped last week’s new dance “PEOPLE ARE CRAZY” (Gaye Teather), very well received by the class , plus lots of other recaps. Second half taught “UNPREDICTABLE” (Robbie McGowan Hickie & Karl-Harry Winson) – great response and also recapped “DRIP DROPPIN’” (Kate Sala) & “NIGHTSHIFT” (Kath Dickens), both going well. 

Playlist for the night was :- Cowboy Strut, Red Hot Salsa, Electric Slide, Tennessee Waltz Surprise, This & That, Commitment, Grundy Gallop, People Are Crazy, Mojo Rhythm/Cowboy Charleston, Picnic Polka, Country Walkin’/Pot of Gold, Rhyme Or Reason, People Are Crazy (again), Quarter After One, Playing With Fire, I Run To You, Drip Droppin (twice), Pack Up, Unpredictable (twice), Night Owl, Nightshift.

On Wednesday night at Saltaire decided to catch up on a couple of easy ones to country tracks that have been around a while but have never got round to doing. First up was “BOBBI WTH AN I” choreographed by Rachael McEnaney to track of the same name by Phil Vassar followed by “PEOPLE ARE CRAZY” choreographed by Gaye Teather  also to a track of the same name by Billy Currington. Both quick teaches that went down well with the class, a lot of who were glad to have something not too brain taxing for a change.  Re-capped last weeks dance “SNAP YOUR FINGERS” (Rachael McEnaney) fabulous dance going well with the class, also quick recaps of “UNPREDICTABLE” (Robbie McGowan Hickie & Karl-Harry Winson), DRIP DROPPIN’ (Kate Sala), “NIGHTSHIFT” (Kath Dickens) & “HAUNTED” (Paul McAdam) all popular with our dancers.
